Now that the idea of the honeymoon travel registry has caught on, one travel company has further refined this gift idea to offer a Honeymoon Cruise Registry.

Conceived by Cruises Inc, the Honeymoon Cruise Registry can help prospective brides and grooms select a honeymoon cruise that suits their budget, time and lifestyle.

Once the couple joins the registry, family and friends can go to Honeymoon Voyages to view the selected cruise and contribute toward the honeymoon vacation.

Voyage gift credits are available in $50 and $100 increments, charged to a major credit card, and applied to the honeymoon couple's cruise reservation account . Purchasers receive an e-mail confirmation of the amount contributed.

Shortly before the wedding, the couple will receive an album from Cruises Inc. displaying the names of family and friends who contributed to their honeymoon cruise registry.

One of the advantages of registering for a honeymoon cruise with Cruises Inc. is the company's satisfaction guarantee. As it states on the Cruises Inc. Web site: "After departing on your cruise, if you are not satisfied, call us immediately and we will refund the unused portion of your cruise and the cost to fly you back to your port of origin."

Hopefully, that won't be necessary, especially if the cruise ship treats the two of you well and you arrange to have some special honeymoon amenities provided once you come aboard.
